Stockner confirms the technical session's speakers include:
* Rick Cooper, director of the Division
of Gas & Oil at the Virginia Department
of Mines, Minerals and Energy, who will
report on Virginia's 2013 oil and gas development;
* Armando Benincasa, an attorney
for Steptoe & Johnson, who will cover
water rights and regulations in Appalachia;
* Ryan Henderson, technical sales
director at Peak Completions, who will
address open hole completion methods;
* Dave Mrowzinski, program manager
at IGS Energy, who will discuss the CNG
corridor along Interstate 81;
* Boyd Gray, chief executive officer
of Rubicon Geological Consulting, who
will cover geosteering in the Central Appalachian Basin and bringing new technology to an old play;
* Edith Allison, director of the Energy
and Geoscience Policy Office at the American Association of Petroleum Geologists,
who will address federal laws and regulations affecting the oil and gas industry;
and
* Maribeth Anderson, government relations representative in West Virginia for
Chesapeake Energy, who will discuss advocacy and the power of association. ❒
Regency To Construct
Gas Processing Facility
DALLAS-Regency Energy Partners
LP announces it will build a $260 million
natural gas processing plant and liquids
pipeline at its Dubberly facility in North
Louisiana.
According to Regency, the project includes a 200 million cubic-feet-a-day processing plant, which will connect to
Regency's new Dubberly gathering trunkline.
The company says it also will build a
160-mile liquids pipeline from the Dubberly site to fractionation facilities. The
pipeline will have an initial capacity of
25,000 barrels a day, and will be expandable with additional pump stations.
Regency leadership affirms the area is
experiencing "significant volume growth,"
thanks to North Louisiana's rich Cotton
Valley play, and the expansion will allow
the company to provide new processing
solutions for its customers.
