Dupré Logistics Expands Into Colorado, Wyoming
DOUGLAS, WY.-Dupré Logistics is
expanding its crude oil business group
into the Powder River and Denver-Julesburg basins. The group says it will operate
out of a recently purchased terminal in
Douglas with in-house maintenance services to maximize equipment uptime.

Halcón Builds CNG Station
To Reduce Drilling Costs
HOUSTON-Halcón Resources Corp.
has commissioned its first compressed
natural gas facility through a subsidiary,
Hawk Clean Fuels.
The facility will serve the company's
operations in its El Halcón area in East
Texas and is intended to displace diesel
fuel used in drilling operations, Halcón
says. In addition to offering environmental
advantages, the company predicts, using
CNG will reduce its fuel costs 50 percent.
Since discovering El Halcón two years
ago, Halcón has drilled 80 wells in the
play and is transitioning from lease capture
mode to development mode, relates Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Floyd
C. Wilson. "El Halcón has been a tremendous success for our company and others
in the area, and we always are looking
for new ways to lower completed well
costs. Natural gas fueling is a step in the
right direction, and also can be applied
to our operations in other areas," he says.
Wilson indicates the company plans to
build similar facilities to service its operations
in the Williston Basin sometime this year.
