Tracerco Now Provides Mobile Analysis Service

PASADENA, TX.-Tracerco, part of
FTSE 100 Johnson Matthey plc, has invested in a number of new mobile reservoir
analysis laboratories for on-site use in
offshore projects. Tracerco says the laboratories will give customers rapid sample
analysis turnaround, allowing companies
to optimize production by reacting quickly
to the Tracer Production LogTM in Inflow,
Frac and Interwell.
Analytical equipment in the laboratories
allows multiple tracer analysis with no
compromise on tracer selectivity and sensitivity, Tracerco reports.
According to the company, the mobile
tracer laboratories for offshore projects

are built to the DNV 2.7 Zone 2 standard,
and are fully pressurized and able to integrate with safety systems on the rigs.
Tracerco says the laboratories are supplied
on a full turnkey basis, and come with a
crew of experienced analytical chemists.

ONEOK Joins Fermaca For Pipeline To Mexico

TULSA-ONEOK Partners LP confirms
it has entered into a 50/50 joint venture
with a subsidiary of Fermaca Infrastructure
BV, a Mexico City-based natural gas infrastructure company, to construct a pipeline
that will transport natural gas from West
Texas' Permian Basin to Mexico.
According to the partners, the Roadrunner Gas Transmission Pipeline will extend from ONEOK's WesTex Transmission
natural gas pipeline system at Coyanosa,
Tx., west to the Mexico border near San
Elizario, Tx., where it will connect with
Fermaca's Tarahumara Gas Pipeline.
ONEOK confirms the project, which
will be constructed in phases, includes
200 miles of 30-inch diameter pipeline
to transport as much as 570 million cubic
feet of natural gas a day to Mexico.
According to Fermaca, one of its subsidiaries has executed precedent agreements representing the initial design capacity with the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE), Mexico's national electric
utility. All transportation agreements will
be firm and have a 25-year term.
According to the companies, the project's first phase for 170 MMcf/d of available capacity will be complete by first
quarter 2016. The second phase, to increase
capacity to 570 MMcf/d, is expected to
be complete in first quarter 2017. The
final phase is expected to be complete in
2019 and will increase available capacity

on the pipeline to 640 MMcf/d.
ONEOK Partners confirms it will manage
construction and will operate the pipeline
on completion. The project is estimated
to cost $450 million-$500 million.

Exxon Mobil Produces
At Hadrian South Well

IRVING, TX.-Exxon Mobil Corp.
says production has begun in the deepwater
Gulf of Mexico at Hadrian South, with
facilities tied back to the nearby Lucius
project, reducing needed infrastructure.
Daily gross production from Hadrian
South, ExxonMobil's deepest subsea tieback in nearly a mile and a half of water,
is expected to reach 300 million cubic
feet of natural gas and 3,000 barrels of
liquids a day from two wells, the company
says. The wells are 230 miles offshore in
the Keathley Canyon area, in 7,650 feet
of water.
The discovery well, Hadrian-2, was
drilled in 2008, and the appraisal well,
the Hadrian-4 sidetrack, was completed
the following year, the company says.
ExxonMobil says Hadrian South is a
subsea production system with flowlines
connected to the Anadarko-operated Lucius
truss spar, which began producing in January. With the startup of Hadrian South
and Lucius, ExxonMobil's total Gulf of
Mexico net production capacity has increased by more than 45,000 oil-equivalent
barrels a day. The company says it holds
a 46.7 percent interest in Hadrian South
and 23.3 percent interest in Lucius. ❒

New Hydraulic Drills Ideal For Offshore Operations

DAYTON, OH.-For offshore rig applications, Dayton LaminaTM has introduced hydraulic drills it says are compact
enough to fit into narrow openings, yet
have the power for heavy duty drilling
and tapping operations.
Designed to fit openings as narrow as
9¼ inches, the drills are ideal for work in
tight quarters, Dayton Lamina says. The
company points out that the magnetic
base attaches to the drilling surface at almost any angle, including vertical and
horizontal.
According to Dayton Lamina, six in-

terchangeable drill heads with quick disconnects are available to suit the project
at hand. Drill heads can be fixture mounted
for special applications, and can be specified without the magnetic base, the company continues, adding that manual and
manual/automatic power feed drill head
models are available.
Suitable for indoor or outdoor usage,
the Lamina power unit is caster mounted
for easy movement to and within the job
site, Dayton Lamina says. Each unit includes 15 feet of hydraulic hoses on the
power unit and an additional 7½ feet of
hydraulic hose on the drill head, reports
the company. It says quick disconnect fittings ensure fast and easy
assembly.
For information, contact Dayton
Lamina at 937-859-5111 or visit
