Jason 9.0 Ups Confidence In Reservoir Interpretations
PARIS-CGG GeoSoftware has released version 9.0 of its Jason reservoir
characterization software.
According to the company, the software
enables users to enhance their understanding
of reservoir properties, make better well
location decisions, and improve the quality
and predictive nature of their reservoir
models through integrated reservoir characterization, petrophysical interpretation
and reservoir modeling workflows.
Jason 9.0 includes powerful new tools
for anisotropic inversion of azimuthal
seismic surveys, nuclear magnetic resonance log interpretation, pore pressure
analysis, and acoustic log interpretation

Z100® nodes.
FairfieldNodal says the Z100 nodes

data acquisition in transition zones, where
they provide continuous recording for as
long as 30 days in water depths as great
as 984 feet. The company points out that

Bluetooth® Smart-enabled machine health
monitor that allows customers to identify
potential problems before they become

The device tracks vibration, temperature
and run-time hours, and wirelessly syncs
the data with a smartphone or tablet through
a mobile application, ITT says. The company adds that it is chemically resistant,
works in temperatures between -40 and
183 degrees F, and operates in environments
