2015 LAGCOE Grows
Through Exhibits, Presentations
And Special Events

LAFAYETTE, LA.-Located in the
gateway to America's "energy corridor,"
the Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition
is scheduled for Oct. 27-29 at the Lafayette
Cajundome & Convention Center. LAGCOE 2015 features more than 430 exhibitors, and 15 technical and international
presentations covering relevant industry
issues from across the globe.
The technical program is highlighted
by two keynote addresses. Doug Lawler,
president, chief executive officer and
director of Chesapeake Energy Corp.,
will share insights on the state of the
upstream industry at 1 p.m. on Tuesday,
Oct. 27. Gary Luquette, president and
CEO of Frank's International LLC, will
address LAGCOE attendees at 1 p.m.
Wednesday.
The technical program also includes
topical presentations from leaders in the
onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration and production industry. Examples
include:
* An overview of the fast-track Delta
House development project using a new
semisubmersible floating production system in 4,500 feet of water in the Gulf of
Mexico Mississippi Canyon area, presented by Rick Fowler, vice president of
deepwater projects at LLOG Exploration
Company;
* An analysis of the scope and implications of the Louisiana Oil Well Lien
Act, presented by Samuel E. Masur of
Armistead Long and David Rogers with
Gordon Arata McCollam Duplantis &
Eagan LLC;
* An update on advances in deepwater
rigless well stimulation technology, presented by Christopher Mancini, project
manager at Oceaneering International Inc.;
* The outlook for liquefied natural
gas exports and the American energy
landscape, presented by Jason French,
director of government and public affairs
at Cheniere Energy; and

of the LAGCOE New Technology Showcase Award.
International Focus

LAGCOE is one of only two oil and
gas shows selected by the U.S. Department
of Commerce to participate in its International Buyer Program. Under the program, the International Trade Administration recruits prescreened foreign buyers
to attend the show, and provides on-site
assistance to both representatives of
foreign buyers and companies exhibiting
at LAGCOE.

interested in the world-class technologies

The LAGCOE International Trade
Center will be located on the second
level of the Lafayette Convention Center.
Exhibitors can schedule business meetings
and specific country counseling sessions
with foreign buyers and business experts,
coordinated by the U.S. Commercial
Service energy team.
In addition, LAGCOE 2015 features
seven international presentations covering
opportunities in Latin America, Mexico,
Saudi Arabia, Ukraine and Korea. Aramco
Services Company and the Korea TradeInvestment Promotion Agency will join
LAGCOE as exhibitors and international
presenters offering avenues for new business for U.S. companies.
At 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, a
session titled "Keys to Conducting International Business" features a panel of
international business and legal professionals sharing useful information for
companies considering exporting to or
locating in a foreign country. This is one
session companies interested in expanding
or entering international markets should
not miss.
New For LAGCOE 2015

New for LAGCOE 2015, the Energy
Innovators Pitch Challenge is a collaborative effort between LAGCOE and two
economic organizations: INNOV8 Acadiana and the Lafayette Economic Development Authority's Opportunity Machine. This event seeks to connect the
best emerging energy innovators ready
to move their business ideas forward with
credible investors.
The Energy Innovators Pitch Challenge
winners will be showcased throughout
LAGCOE at the Energy Innovators tent,
with a culminating "shark tank" style
pitch event on Oct. 29. The best presentation will receive the INNOV8 Award
and possible funding for the idea. For
