Oil, Gas & Mining is one of seven divisions under the Utah
Department of Natural Resources, which is headed by Executive
Director Mike Styler, phone 801-538-7200. The Division of Oil,
Gas & Mining is headed by Director John Baza, Associate Director John Rogers, who is administrator of the Oil & Gas Section; and Associate Director Dana Dean, who is the administrator of the Mining Section. Utah is treated as a single geographic region for administering oil and gas regulations.
