Proscient™ 3.0 Integrates With SAP® ERP Software
HOUSTON-Petrotechnics announces
that Proscient™ 3.0, its risk management
software, has achieved certified integration
with version 6.0 of the SAP® enterprise
resource planning application.
The SAP Integration and Certification
Center has certified the integration and interoperability of Proscient 3.0 and SAP
ERP 6.0 to help organizations operating
in hazardous industries-including oil and
gas-manage critical business operations,
Petrotechnics reports. The software provider
says Proscient gives companies a new and
unique way to visualize and manage risk
and activity, empowering everyone in an
organization-from the boardroom to the

Objectivity Enables CGG To Process Data Faster
SAN JOSE, CA.-Objectivity Inc. has
teamed with CGG GeoSoftware to enable
parallel seismic data visualization and
analysis with a Lambda-compliant architecture powered by Objectivity's
ThingSpan™ platform. The partners say
this project will allow CGG GeoSoftware
to cost-effectively leverage and analyze
larger data volumes in less time, enabling
its clients to achieve more accurate scientific
results.

New 2H Offshore Software
Simpliﬁes Fatigue Analysis
HOUSTON-Acteon company 2H Offshore has launched FlawIQ, which it describes as an engineering critical assessment
(ECA) tool that automates both BS7910
and API 579 procedures to speed and simplify fatigue assessments for offshore components. The company says the software
is the only commercially available tool
that incorporates both standards, eliminating
the need for multiple tools.
According to 2H Offshore, FlawIQ allows users to automate flaw ranges and
run multiple cases without manual intervention. The company adds that the program
is highly customizable, which simplifies
the process of incorporating new solutions
and increases the accuracy for special situations such as high-pressure, high temperature situations. The tool is Web-based
and features a user-friendly online help facility and access to 2H Offshore's expert
team of ECA engineers for technical support
and training, the company continues.
The software has many applications
within the oil and gas industry with various
types of structures, which 2H Offshore

and piping, tanks and buildings, in both
