Sunoco, ETP Plan Merger To Unlock Cost Savings
NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA.-Sunoco
Logistics Partners LP and Energy Transfer
Partners LP announce they have entered
into a merger agreement through which
Sunoco will acquire ETP in a unit-for-unit
transaction.
The companies say the transaction is
expected to be immediately accretive to
Sunoco's distributable cash flow for each
common unit, and also is expected to allow
the combined partnership to be in position
to achieve near-term distribution increases
in the low double digits and a coverage
ratio exceeding 1.0x.
The combined partnership will increase
scale and diversification across multiple
producing basins and offer greater opportunities to more closely integrate Sunoco's

natural gas liquids business with ETP's
natural gas gathering, processing and transportation business, the companies continue.
They say they will build on their experience
working together in several joint ventures
to pursue commercial opportunities and
achieve cost savings while enhancing customer service.
Sunoco and ETP estimate the transaction
will allow for commercial synergies and
cost savings exceeding $200 million annually by 2019. They say the transaction
is expected to close in the first quarter of
2017, subject to ETP unit holder approval
and other customary closing conditions.

Safety and Health Administration recordable
incident.

Hexion Debuts Budget Line
Of Resin-Coated Proppants
HOUSTON-Hexion Inc. says its new
kRT™ resin-coated proppants provide a
cost-effective alternative to traditional
resin-coated proppants while delivering
superior performance compared with uncoated sand.
The low-cost resin-coated proppants
are available in 20/40, 30/50, 40/70, and
100 mesh sizes, according to Hexion.
The company says its Stress Bond™ technology delivers many of the benefits that
curable resin coated proppants provide
over uncoated frac sand, including reduced
proppant flowback, fines generation and
proppant embedment. Hexion adds that
they generate less silica dust during the
pneumatic transfer and conveying process,
improving worker health and safety.

Wellkeeper Taps SignalFire To Monitor Tubing, Casing
HUDSON, MA.-Wellkeeper Inc. is
specifying SignalFire's Remote Sensing
SystemTM (SFRSS) in its remote monitoring solutions for tracking tubing and
casing pressures, Signal Fire announces.
According to the company, the SFRSS
helps Wellkeeper resolve many of the
problems associated with manual gauges
and wired remote monitoring systems.
With no wiring or trenching requirements,
installing a wireless system costs much

less, SignalFire illustrates.
Since most wellheads are situated far
from remote terminal units, the company
says the SRFSS uses a long-range mesh
networking technology specifically designed for challenging, large-scale environments. In many applications, the
system gathers tubing and casing pressure
data from several wells, a task SignalFire
says many customers would find costprohibitive with wired systems.
The company adds that wireless systems offer a unique benefit during
workovers: The wireless sensors can be
removed and reinstalled without having
to install new seals and conduit.
For information, contact Wellkeeper
at 888-935-5533, or visit www.wellkeeper.com or www.signal-fire.com. ❒
The wireless technology behind SignalFire's
Remote Sensing System™ helps Wellkeeper
Inc. offer affordable solutions for remotely
monitoring tubing and casing pressure, SignalFire says.
