Our vast Regional North Woods are simply the

place to be when it comes to hunting and your
opportunity to 'bag the big one'!
With ample public hunting acreage and multiple
seasons across two states, hunters are sure to
enjoy the thrill of the hunt and the beauty of
the outdoors. Gather the gang and set up
camp for this seasons adventure.

When it comes to fishing, the Bay of

Green Bay has so much to offer. You can go
in any direction and find plentiful numbers
of your favorite freshwater species. If you
like to target "Old Marble Eyes," this area
has everything trophy big water walleyes

people travel hundreds of miles to fish for these
Walleye in hopes of catching a trophy of a lifetime.
In the early spring, these trophy females hit the
river along with miles of shoreline north and south
of the river to spawn. After they spawn, the
walleye hang tight to the shoreline, usually in less
than 8 feet of water. The shoreline bite will usually
last about 6-8 weeks after ice-out. Don't be
surprised if you hook into a nice Brown Trout,
Northern Pike, or Smallmouth Bass while trolling,
casting or jigging for these trophy Walleye. As the
water warms up and the fish move out deeper,
this area also has plenty of weed beds, rock piles,
and offshore reefs to hold plenty of walleye from
early spring to late fall.

Mid-Summer this area also offers great deep water Salmon and
Brown Trout fishing. The Bay of Green Bay is also known for Big
Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trophy Muskies, Catfish,
Perch, and Whitefish.
Marinette and Menominee offers newly remolded boat
launches with fish cleaning stations for your convenience. Full
service marinas with boat slips and all the amenities a boater
could ask for. There is good reason that the Cabela's NWT
National Walleye Tour Championship was held in Marinette, this
is one fishing paradise you don't want to overlook. Make this
area your next vacation hot spot.
