The ACCF provides a variety of educational formats that offer CME credits. • Annual Scientific Session: Considered the world’s premier cardiovascular meeting for science, education, and networking, the ACC Annual Scientific Session offers a maximum of 35 CME credits. • Educational Programs: ACCF offers numerous educational programs throughout the United States on a variety of cardiovascular-related topics. Presented by well-known experts, ACCF designates commensurate hours in category 1 credit for each program. Experts summarize and give opinions on recently released research, new tests, and therapies. ACCEL subscribers can receive monthly CD-ROMs and/or go to www.cardiosource. com to search for and download interviews to their MP3 player. • Self-Assessment Programs (SAPs): This award-winning product line covers the core curriculum of topics in general and specialty areas of cardiology, such as adult clinical cardiology (ACCSAP), HeartValveSAP, CCTSAP, EchoSAP, ArrhythmiaSAP, CMRSAP, ECGSAP, LipidSAP, RecertSAP, Focus on Acute Coronary Syndromes, Focus on Heart Failure, and the newly released CathSAP.
