But there are different ways to do it, and one method could be better and more efficient for parts than the other. In this article we will explore these two methods and which one is right for your parts. There are two basic types of automated deburring: wet and dry. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages. The deburring operation itself is the same whether wet or dry. Wet deburring simply adds coolant to the deburring operation. Let’s start with the basic components of each deburring system. A dry machine has a conveyor belt that feeds parts into the machine and a head or series of heads that do the deburring work.
