MGM 4K Content
USA: NanoTech Entertainment has
announced a licensing agreement
with MGM. With the agreement
NanoTech's 4K Ultra HD network
UltraFlix has been granted the
distribution rights to five top MGM
films: Rocky; Rain Man; Fargo;
RoboCop (1987); and The Good, the
Bad and the Ugly.
UltraFlix subscribers can enjoy
the films in 4K Ultra HD from the
comfort of their homes on a variety
of 4K Ultra HD platforms and TVs.

released version 2 of Tachyon
Wormhole.
The joint venture between Wohler
and Cinnafilm provides automated
file-based retiming and standards
conversion in a single appliance.

into further improvements in the
performance of the widely-used
NICAM Codec has been supported
by a customised EMC - screened
3RU 19-inch rack cases from
Verotec. The modifications to the
standard unit included a four-ink
CMYK digitally printed front panel
without peripheral margins.
A dense pattern of connector cut
outs was required on the rear
panel - these were laser cut to
maintain the flatness of the panel.

Acquire Telestream

rivate equity investment firm
Genstar Capital has entered into
a definitive agreement to purchase
Telestream, Inc. for an undisclosed
sum.
"Genstar's mid-market focus and
deep expertise in the software industry
will enable Telestream to further
accelerate our growth," said Dan
Castles, Telestream's Co-Founder and
CEO.
"Over the past several years,
Telestream has experienced its most
significant growth. We look forward to
our new partnership with Genstar as
we increase our investment in existing
products, accelerate our reach into
new customer verticals and fuel our
next phase of development through
additional M&A activity. Our product

portfolio and business models are well
suited for the Genstar environment."
Telestream's product line includes
media processing platform Vantage,
live production and streaming
software Wirecast and video playback
and inspection tool Switch.
