As its resort collection grows, Disney Vacation Club continues to
introduce new ownership advantages through its Membership
Magic initiative. This unparalleled member benefits program
provides enhanced services, exclusive access to Disney experiences,
ever-expanding flexibility and other value-added elements that only
Disney can deliver.
Disney Vacation Club is experiencing one of the most exciting
periods in its history, opening new resorts and unveiling new
enhancements at its existing properties. In fact, the 15th Disney
Vacation Club project, Disney's Riviera Resort, will welcome
members and guests in the fall of 2019. This project features a
variety of deluxe accommodations, and will be connected to two
theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort via a new skyway
transportation system, the Disney Skyliner. Additionally, Disney
Vacation Club recently announced its next planned development -
an entirely new nature-themed resort called Reflections, A Disney
Lakeside Lodge. Nestled between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and
Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground, this new resort experience
is scheduled to open in 2022. Reflections, A Disney Lakeside Lodge,
is planned to be the 16th Disney Vacation Club property and will
include more than 900 hotel rooms and proposed Disney Vacation
Club villas. These exciting plans come after several significant resort
openings and enhancements in recent years.
