Since Publix's beginnings, we have been dedicated to giving back
to our communities. Mr. George was once asked what he thought
he would be worth had he not given so much away. Humbly, he
answered, "Probably nothing". These values still hold today with
Publix charities. Publix is ranked No. 1 nationwide in giving to
March of Dimes (2017), and Honored as a United Way Outstanding
Strategic Partner (2014). We are also committed to initiatives such as
Habitats for Humanity, Feeding America, and various local charities
that focus on food, families and making our communities better.

George Jenkins opened the first Publix store on Sept. 6, 1930 in
Winter Haven, FL. Mr. George, as he was affectionately called by
his associates, established profit-sharing and employee ownership
from day one. He opened his dream store, the first Publix Super
Market, on Nov. 8, 1940. A "food palace" of marble, glass and
stucco, this store included innovations such as air conditioning,
fluorescent lighting, electric eye doors and terrazzo floors. Mr.
George continued his never-ending expansion, bringing the Publix
standard of clean stores, friendly service and quality merchandise to
customers throughout Florida.

In 2016, Publix introduced a grocery delivery service, powered by
Instacart. We believe the grocery delivery service is a unique offering
that gives timeshare resort owners and guests the convenience of
having Publix groceries delivered to the resort. Working together
with your resort teams, we can enhance your owner and guest
experience with a value added service that makes vacations even
more relaxing.

As Publix Super Markets continued to spring up across the
Southeast, adding delis, pharmacies, and even cooking schools,
the company never veered from Mr. George's original philosophy
of treating employees and customers like family. Our thousands
of cashiers, baggers, meat cutters, and bakers are the company's
largest collective shareholders-all trained to put their customers
first. As a result, year after year, Publix has been hailed as the No.
1 supermarket for customer satisfaction, one of FORTUNE's "100
Best Companies to Work For," and held as an inspiration for its
sustainability efforts and community involvement.

Stephanie Glazer joined Publix in 2017 to spearhead the
Omnichannel Business Development efforts. Stephanie has an MBA
from Stetson University. She started her career in sales and spent
15 years in the sales and vacation ownership industry working in a
range of roles from training to leadership. Stephanie also worked in
ecommerce where her work focused on new business and product
development. The team focuses on developing channels outside
the store that build value for our business customers.
