Soheil Sohrabi (S) is a Ph.D. student in the Zachry
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at
Texas A&M University. Prior to joining this program,
he received a master's degree in transportation
engineering at Amirkabir University (Tehran
Polytechnic). While his research is primarily concerned with
transportation data analytics and modeling with an emphasize on
road safety, he also is interested in improving road safety through
intelligent transportation technologies. Soheil is currently a graduate
research assistant at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI).
Dominique Lord, P.Eng., Ph.D. (M) (Advisor) is a
professor, A.P., and Florence Wiley Faculty Fellow in
the Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental
Engineering at Texas A&M University. His primary
interests are conducting fundamental research on crash
analysis methodologies, new and innovative statistical methods for
analyzing motor vehicle crashes, and before-after evaluation
techniques. He holds a bachelor of engineering in civil engineering
from McGill University, and master of science and Ph.D. degrees
from the University of Toronto.
