Lance Taylor, chief executive officer of
Steward Energy, a producer with more
than 100,000 acres in the Permian
Basin. " We continue to deliver
improved well results across the
Horizontal San Andres that leads to this
further partnership between Steward
and Stakeholder. "
" The thing that has been the most
rewarding is working with like-minded
producers who are focused on the
environment and continue to drive ever
improving well results, " reflects
Stakeholder Midstream co-CEO
Gaylon Gray. " We are excited to be
able to expand our system capabilities
to better meet their needs and to
further our efforts towards reducing
our carbon intensity. " ❒
Williams, Sempra
Aim To Link Haynesville
With Gulf Coast LNG
TULSA-Williams reports it has
entered a nonbinding heads of
agreement (HOA) with Sempra
Infrastructure to establish an integrated
platform to further connect the
Haynesville Shale to Gulf Coast
liquefied natural gas infrastructure.
According to Williams, the HOA
contemplates long-term gas sales of
approximately 500 million cubic feet a
day delivered near Gillis, La., and two
LNG offtake agreements for a total of
about 3 million tons per annum from
Sempra Infrastructure's proposed
Cameron LNG Phase 2 and Port Arthur
LNG projects. Williams says the
proposed transactions complement its
Louisiana Energy Gateway (LEG)
gathering project and predicts they will
include connections to pipelines
serving Sempra Infrastructure's LNG
export facilities.
As part of the proposed transactions,
the companies express plans to form a
strategic joint venture to own, expand and
operate the Cameron Interstate Pipeline
that is projected to deliver natural gas to
the proposed Cameron LNG Phase 2 in
Hackberry, La. The companies add that
they expect the joint venture to own
additional pipelines, including the
Louisiana Connector Pipeline that is
slated to deliver natural gas to the
proposed Port Arthur LNG terminal.
According to Williams President and
Chief Executive Officer Alan
Armstrong, the transaction offers an
opportunity to combine the companies'
capabilities along the natural gas value
chain and expand natural gas delivery to
the growing international market.
" Facilitating the delivery of nextgeneration
natural gas to ease energy
constraints at home and overseas, while
also helping to meet domestic and
global climate goals, is central to our
natural gas focused strategy, and we
look forward to being well aligned with
Sempra Infrastructure's unique
capabilities and competitive advantages
in the LNG infrastructure space, "
Armstrong relates. " Coupling our
strengths in the midstream
infrastructure space will allow us to
provide unrivaled access to international
markets for our producing customers. "
" We are excited to continue
advancing our U.S. Gulf Coast LNG and
associated pipeline projects as we work
to help satisfy a growing global demand
for cleaner, more reliable energy
sources, " says Sempra Infrastructure
CEO Justin Bird. " We look forward to
advancing our relationship with
Williams, a like-minded company that
shares our commitment to building a
future of energy abundance,
affordability and security. "
Williams predicts the LEG project
will enter service in late 2024 and will
gather 1.8 billion cubic feet a day of
natural gas produced in the Haynesville.
❒
Iron Horse To Expand
Anadarko Basin Capacity
DALLAS-Iron Horse Midstream is
unveiling plans to construct a 200
million cubic feet a day natural gas
cryogenic processing plant on its 120acre
complex in Grady County, Ok., in
the heart of the SCOOP/STACK/Merge
play. The new plant, which Iron Horse
predicts will be operational in late 2023,
will increase the company's total natural
gas processing capacity in the region to
425 MMcf/d.
" As production activity in this highly
prolific area continues to increase,
installing our second train is a natural
and necessary growth opportunity.
Expanding our Iron Horse processing
complex provides capacity exactly
where it is needed-in the core of the
basin, where we have access to
numerous high-quality, residue gas
markets, " relates Iron Horse Chief
Executive Officer Tim Roberts. " We
understand that our success is driven by
the success of the companies we serve;
this expansion is a testament to our
continued focus on providing reliable,
customized and flexible midstream
solutions to our producer customers. "
Iron Horse notes that its system
includes approximately 300 miles of
high- and low-pressure natural gas
gathering pipelines, multiple
compressor stations and the 225
MMcf/d Iron Horse cryogenic gas
processing plant. ❒
