I clearly remember that first“photo shoot” and how much I loved posing my sister and our scroungy mutt of a dog. There was something so exhilarating about how everything looked through a lens. That love and excitement for making the everyday things in life beautiful followed me through my youth as a high school newspaper and yearbook photographer, and then to college where I focused my studies on the history of art and photography. It was also in college that I fell in love with photographing weddings. It’s been 10 years since that first wedding, and I still get butterflies when the bride and groom kiss for the first time as husband and wife.There is nothing better than capturing the beginning of a family.
