SHEILA ALEXANDER-REID
Alexander-Reid is executive director
of PHL diversity for Philadelphia
Convention and Visitors Bureau. Most
recently, Alexander-Reid worked as senior
vice president of business development
for BiasSync. In 2015, she was appointed
executive director of the Mayor's Office
of LGBTQ+ Affairs by Washington, D.C.,
Mayor Muriel Bowser. Alexander-Reid has
founded two agencies, Branding4Change
and Women in the Life, in which she
remains active.
CHRISTI DAVIS
Davis has been promoted to senior vice
president of Loews sales organization
by Loews Hotels & Co. She joined the
company in 2017 as regional director of
sales and marketing, during which she
oversaw its West Coast and Southeast
properties. More recently, she was vice
president of Loews sales organization.
Davis has held leading positions with
Journal Hotels, Beverly Hilton, K Hotels
and more.
JOE CRIMMINS
Crimmins is vice president of operations
for Main Street Hospitality, a hotel group
with eight properties in the Northeast United
States. In Crimmins' 30 years in the hospitality
industry, he's worked with Hilton
Hotels, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts,
Doral Hotels and Destination Hotels.
Crimmins serves on the board of advisors
of Hospitality Services for Penn State
University, where he also once served as its
executive director.
VIRGINIA ROJAS
Rojas is director of sales and marketing
of The Ritz-Carlton, Boston. Before
joining this property, Rojas worked
on the pre-opening team of The RitzCarlton,
Mexico City as director of
sales and marketing. Before that, she
worked with W Bogota in Colombia as
director of sales, business travel sales
manager and account manager over
six years. While there, she was named
Global Leader of the Year by Marriott
International.

On Jan. 1, 2023, Briscoe will be CEO of
MMGY Global, the first female in the company's
40 years. Briscoe joined MMGY in 2009
and has since held numerous roles within the
company, including leading roles in interactive
marketing, client services and agency
management. Prior to working with MMGY,
Briscoe has worked with Apple Leisure, Hilton
Hotels, Pure Michigan, Namibia Tourism, SIXT
and Wyndham Hotel Group.
DAVID DURAN
Pendry Hotels & Resorts promoted Duran
to general manager. Duran joined the San
Diego-based property in 2019 as director of
operations. Before joining Pendry San Diego,
he worked as director of food and beverage
for The Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino and
Bellagio Resort & Casino. He also worked as
vice president of food, beverage and retail at
Viejas Resort & Casino in Alpine, California.
MONICA ORTIZ
Ortiz has been promoted to managing director
of Rosewood Baha Mar in Nassau,
Bahamas, previously serving as the property's
resort manager since 2019. The Mexiconative
started her career in 2000 in the
reservations department of The Ritz-Carlton
Hotel Company. She later worked on One
and Only Palmilla's pre-opening team and
moved on to Rosewood Mayakoba in Playa
del Carmen, Mexico, where she worked as
rooms division manager.
LORNE EDWARDS
Visit Phoenix has named Edwards
chief sales officer. Edwards joined Visit
Phoenix in 2012 as its director of sales
and most recently served as the organization's
senior vice president of sales
and destination services. During his time
in the hospitality industry, he spent 16
years with Hyatt Hotels Corporation in
sales, which has taken him to Boston,
Denver, Atlanta and Orlando.
