is approaching,
I encourage you to
consider attending
two specific sessions
relating to health-care reform,
both of which promise to arm you
with the information you need
to face the changing landscape
head-on. I'll be participating

R2R, highlighting turnkey strategies
available to you to help increase
referral, enrollment, and adherence.
In this age of value-based care,
we'll provide practical solutions

Full details are available on the
website, but we will focus on
understanding the implications
of value-based care in cardiac
rehabilitation services, identifying
opportunities for success with change,
and sharing strategies to increase
referral, enrollment, and adherence.
You'll gain the context to seize
health-care reform opportunities and
become the change agent to drive
your cardiac rehabilitation program
to a value-base care model. 

R2R is sponsored by:

Message from the President continued from page 5
Through these efforts mentioned
above, and many more, we are
leaving a legacy of modernizing
cardiac and pulmonary rehab by
providing tools to our professionals
that will transform care and expand
the populations we serve. Finally,
with the work of the Student

Task Force, we are providing
opportunities for students and
emerging professionals to
create a sustainable future for
the profession.
This year has been one of the
greatest honors of my professional

career. I am beyond fortunate
to have worked with so many
great volunteer leaders, AACVPR
staff members, affiliates, and
colleagues across the country.
I thank all of you for your passion
for our field and for the patients
we serve. 
