Acquires AdInfa
GBR: TSL Products has acquired
AdInfa, the developer of Data
Centre Infrastructure Management
software solution InSite.
TSL Products MD Chris Exelby said:
"This acquisition is the perfect
adjunct for our business, coming
at a time of the launch of our new
vertical intelligent PDU's and as
we continue to build our range of
monitoring solutions for broadcast
and look towards new markets."
The AdInfa management team
have left the business by mutual
consent, TSL Products will take on
InSite's technical resource.

SGL FlashNet On
Data Expedition
GBR: SGL FlashNet is now
integrated with Data Expedition's
ExpeDat Gateway for Amazon S3.
This enables broadcasters and
content owners to transfer media
directly to AWS at high speed,
providing an additional means
of storage and disaster recovery
workflows.
SGL claims this provides a highly
cost-effective file transfer solution,
enabling files to be transferred to
and from S3 at up to 700 Mb/s.

Nine Media Corp
Deploys Observer
PHL / USA: Nine Media Corporation
is using a four-channel HD Volicon
Observer video monitoring and
logging system at its Mandaluyong
City facilities.
This
enables
reliable
and
straightforward capture, review,
and export of aired content.
Nine Media uses the Observer
system to record its continuous
broadcast of CNN Philippines.
The
system's
browser-based
interface gives staff convenient
and immediate access to stored
content.

Major European FUJIFILM
Broadcast Lens Order

S Broadcast Hire has ordered a
total of 26 4K UHD Series lenses;
13 UA80x9BESM EFP Box lenses and
13 UA22x8BERD ENG lenses from
FUJIFILM UK.
This is the latest order in a row
of recent acquisitions for the newly
developed FUJINON 2/3-inch 4K UHD
lenses, it can be viewed as a clear
indicator that the TV broadcast market
migration to the new 4K UHD format is
picking up pace.
FUJIFILM UK Sales Manager Ian
O'Connor said: "FUJIFILM delivered
the most advanced 4K UHD optical
technology on the market to date
which includes an extensive after
sales service commitment to all of our
clients".
ES Broadcast will be the first rental

house in Europe to
offer 2/3-inch 4K UHD
lenses.
In a joint statement,
ES Broadcast owners
Edward Saunders and
Warren Taggart said:
"We're very excited
about the increase in
demand for 4K/UHD
production. We have
chosen now as the
time to invest as the
first rental company
in Europe. Lenses are just the first
step on this tooling up of ES Broadcast
Hire."
