Come join us this fall to celebrate our 35th annual OR Manager Conference. Since the early days, the conference has expanded
and improved every year by offering timely and relevant education. Plus, you can earn CEs in the classroom, on the exhibit hall,
in poster presentations and workshops. The OR Manager Conference team relies upon the Program Committee of industry
experts to help plan education opportunities that directly impact and improve the everyday lives of OR Managers.
The conference program is organized in tracks which allow you to easily select the sessions which are just right for your
educational journey at the OR Manager Conference.
SESSION TRACKS:
LEADERSHIP/REGULATORY:
The Leadership/Regulatory track is designed for nurse
leaders
looking
to
thrive
in
the
most
challenging
environment. Hear from a diverse group of peers and be
inspired by their stories. A variety of facilities will shed light
on the tools they use and how you can implement them at
your facility. A wide range of topics will cover recruitment
and retention strategies, new regulations,
self-care,
resiliency, leading the next generation workforce and much
more!
CLINICAL/EDUCATION:
Get practical education in the Clinical track to develop your
preceptorship plans. Hear from a variety of facilities on
best practices to reduce surgical site infections, eliminate
surgical smoke, robotic technologies and more!
ASC LEADER SUMMIT:
The role of outpatient surgery centers is quickly changing.
Since the pandemic, we've seen a dramatic shift in the
role that ASCs play and as a solution to optimize facilities
for patient care. Attend the ASC Leader Summit to get the
insight you need to help you successfully run your outpatient
surgery center. *These sessions are available in the AllAccess

BUSINESS/FINANCE:
The Business/Finance track is designed for
business,
finance and operations leaders who are looking to optimize
efficiencies in the OR. From block scheduling to supply
chain challenges to minimizing waste and increasing profit
margins, this track will be sure to help you operate a financial
savvy OR.
NEW MANAGER:
Plot your career progression and position yourself to
succeed. The New Manager track will give you the tools you

seasoned OR Managers to guide you. Recommended for
those with less than 5 years of experience or professionals
seeking a refresher.
PACU MANAGER SUMMIT:
The PACU Manager Summit focuses on best practices for
post-op in all surgical specialties. Hear from your peers
who have developed successful PACU programs leading to
higher patient satisfaction. Learn how you can empower
your patients to be partners in their own care. *These
sessions are available in the All-Access or PACU Manager
Summit Passes
GENERAL INTEREST:
Prepare your OR for success! The General Interest track is
all-encompassing topics relevant to nurse leaders of any
experience level. Hear a variety of topics and get insight on
the latest trends impacting the surgical suite. These sessions
cover everything from block utilization and staff satisfaction
to sterile processing.
SPECIAL SESSION DESIGNATIONS
Look for these icons which denote sessions throughout the
conference which also fall into these 2 categories:
MASTERS SERIES: (breakout designation)
For the most experienced OR manager, sessions
within the Masters Series are designed for higherlevel
discussions to gain a deeper understanding of
the specific topics you want to learn more about.
Recommended for leaders with 10+ years of experience.
TRENDING TOPICS: (breakout designation)
The topics that affect perioperative nursing today - and
the trends that will change it tomorrow. The Trending
Topics designation goes to those sessions that are sure
to be hot-topics at this year's conference sessions.
The OR Manager Conference has been approved
for 50+ CEs. Additional CEs may be earned by
participating in pre-conference workshops, poster
presentations and exhibitor presented education.
