BFE Introduces the Next Generation of
Broadcast Control & Monitoring Solutions
A new approach to simplicity has been introduced with the latest additions to the KSC product line...

FE is one of the leading European
broadcast systems integrators
(SI). In its role as general contractor,
BFE designs and builds turnkey
projects, based on a strictly vendor and
product neutral approach.
Around 180 employees work in
specialised fields, such as software
engineering,
project
planning,
process and requirements analysis,
workflow and IT solution design,
installation, testing, and training. In
order to deliver turnkey solutions, the
capabilities in the areas of electrical
and mechanical engineering, joinery
and assembly, are also part of BFE's
valued proposition, in the context of
this project.
Over the past 40 years, BFE has
successfully delivered projects in
Europe, Asia, North Africa, and the
Middle East. During this time, BFE
has worked with all major broadcast
equipment manufacturers, and with
different satellite equipment vendors.

Additionally, BFE is a leading provider
of broadcast control and master
control room management systems.
Within BFE's organisation, a team of
around 20 is in charge of developing
the KSC system solutions, with more
than 900 deployed systems worldwide.
Due to the strategic relevance of
the Middle East, market BFE opened
a branch office in Dubai's Studio City,
in August 2012, in order to support
pre- and post-sales services locally.
This activity will be expanded to
maintenance and support services
mid-term.
BFE is ISO 9001 certified. So all
project related processes, as well
as BFE internal tasks, are processed
according to the internationally
recognised quality standard. They
are continuously controlled both
internally, and by the external
Technical Control Board TÜV (TÜV
Rheinland/BerlinBrandenburg).
At this year's CABSAT in Dubai,

BFE will be demonstrating the latest
addition to the KSC product line,
with a new approach to simplicity for
broadcast control and monitoring
systems. KSC Core is BFE's answer
to many questions regarding futureproof investment in mission critical
solutions, in all relevant areas of
application from live studio production
and master control room (MCR), to
IP-contribution for remote production
and transmission.
By demonstrating real interaction
with devices, from conventional
routing technology to IP routing
functionality, KSC engineers will
demonstrate workflows
for
future
oriented
system
control
and
monitoring.
BFE will show new
developments in the field
of redundancy server
concepts. Engineers, as
well as operators, will see

the ease of use for handling the device
network. Planning engineers will
experience first-hand, how KSC Core
will assist in monitoring and evaluating
the usage of the entire infrastructure.
For production studios and OB van
operations, methods for fast and
reliable production setup changes can
be experienced on-site.
With KSC Core, BFE takes the
next step in developing broadcast
control and monitoring solutions for
today's and tomorrow's challenges in
broadcast engineering.
