My grandparents were married for 60 years; that kind of pledge is a thing of beauty.” Jenn contributed greatly to this issue with pieces on our Real Weddings’ couples, Destination Weddings and The Honeymooners. Jenn lives in Midtown Sacramento and is a freelance writer and editor. David Lee Dailey Born in the Bay Area and transplanted to Sacramento as a child, Dave spent his adolescence exploring his environment. Early in his high school years, Dave’s camera took him to remote landscapes and mountaintops in search of natural beauty. Dave will graduate from CSU Sacramento next year with a BA in photography, and from there he hopes to land in London’s fashion scene for a bit and find out exactly how far his camera can take him. Kelley Saia In launching this magazine Kelley has been Sierrastyle’s in-house wedding guru as she simultaneously planned her own June wedding. In this issue, Kelley takes on a new role as bridesmaid in Sierrastyle Weddings’ own photo shoot and dishes on the hottest spas in our area. Kelley wishes all the brides and grooms the best of luck and reminds them that they’ve already made the biggest decision – deciding to get married – so whether it's flowers, cakes or dresses, the rest should come easy. George Kenton As a child George was enthralled by early magazines such as The Saturday Evening Post, Colliers and Boy’s Life. He has been an art director for many notable titles such as Playboy, PSA inflight magazine, Palm Springs Life and Consumer’s Digest. George has worked with publishers Terry Carroll and Wendy Sipple as design director for the past eight years on numerous successful magazine launches including DVD ETC. magazine, HDTV ETC. magazine, as well as all of Sierrastyle Publishing’s titles. Denise Witt Denise is a freelance writer, voiceover artist, and public relations consultant. She moved to Roseville from Dallas, Texas in 1999. She enjoys writing about a variety of topics for several local magazines and is currently working on a children’s book. She loves camping, boating, biking, hiking, and working out at the gym. She can be reached at wittfullhouse@surewest.net. Maureen Evanoff Maureen is the Fitness Director at Broadstone Racquet Club in Folsom. She is an AFAA certified personal trainer, Certified in Heart Zones Training, INFB Natural Figure Finalist, NBA Natural Figure Finalist and NBA Best Presentation Winner. John Stricker John is a jack-of-all-trades at Sierrastyle Publishing working as a graphic designer and photographer all while serving as the resident comedian. He is a native Illinoisan and received his BA in graphic arts from San Diego State University. When not working, John enjoys traveling, competing with his family to be the first to visit all 50 states. The rest of his free time, or lack thereof, is spent golfing, learning to play guitar, going to watch his beloved St. Louis Cardinals or taking more photos. Rachel Mercurio Rachel lives in Folsom, where she has lived on and off since 1993. She has a BA from UC Santa Cruz in American studies and journalism, and when she’s not working as a cube dweller or writing articles for various publications, you’ll either find her at a live rock show, singing loudly while driving, eating sushi, or knitting socks (or all of the above). She loves the color orange, pianists, road maps, Pirates of the Caribbean, and nothing beats a tasty meal with fabulous company.
