contributors Rachel Mosely Rachel joined the Sierrastyle staff as an editorial intern in the summer of 2007. She has been privileged to be a part of several vibrant local organizations since moving to El Dorado Hills in 2000. A former member of Stages (formerly the Folsom Lake Civic Ballet), Rachel graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 2006. She hopes to pursue a career in writing, which has been a passion since childhood. Rachel is currently studying English and creative writing at Columbia University. Bill Romanelli Bill Romanelli believes everybody has a story, and one of his great joys in life is helping people tell theirs. The freelance writer, author, husband and father of two also has a day job with APCO Worldwide, where he provides public affairs consulting. In between work, family and vanilla chai lattes, he’s currently working on his third book, training as a competition swimmer and wondering just what the heck happened to all his spare time. Neil Edwards & Jennifer Jannusch Neil and Jennifer own and operate Fitness Together-El Dorado Hills with a passion for people and wellness. They train their clients physically, and coach them in the ways of a wellness lifestyle; helping each client develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude required to have a life filled with vitality. Neil has degrees in Exercise Science and Health Behavior/ Education, and Jennifer has degrees in Psychology and Sociology. Meegan Brooks A proud Bears fan, Meegan is pursuing a Political Science degree at UC Berkeley, where she loves meeting eccentric people and soaking up the local culture. A freelance writer since she was a senior at Granite Bay High School, Meegan is attending college on several journalism scholarships. Outside of school and journalism, she also works in Mayor Gavin Newsom’s office in San Francisco. After graduation, she plans on joining the Peace Corps, earning a law degree, and eventually helping to revolutionize American politics. Sharon Penny Sharon married her husband in Reno at the Office of Civil Marriages – a day she remembers fondly, “Surrounded by 15 of our nearest friends and family members, we crammed into a small room, and the officiant had not one but two hearing aids. When he spoke, he resembled Peter Cook in The Princess Bride ’Mawwiage, that bwessed awwangement, that dweam wifin a dweam ’ We all tried not to giggle; my father in-law had tears streaming down his face in silent laughter. To this day, you just have to say ‘Mawwiage’ to him and he'll burst out laughing.” Tim Blackmon Tim Blackmon is the pastor at River Rock Church in Folsom. After completing his undergraduate studies in France, Tim, a native of Holland, immigrated to the United States to attend seminary in Grand Rapids, MI. He graduated from Calvin Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. Tim is an avid reader, athlete and musician. He lives in Folsom with his wife Betsy and their four children. Rebecca Black With nearly thirty years of experience, Rebecca Black – founder and principal of Etiquette Now! – is a credentialed teacher, etiquette and image consultant. She and the Etiquette Now! team design and present custom etiquette workshops for individuals and institutions.
