SIDEBAR FEATURE
On Tuesday, August 1, 2017, the MBA held its Annual Old Vs. Young Lawyers Softball
Game at Norristown Area High School. Fans braved the 90 degree hot and humid weather
to witness the Old Lawyers defeat the Young Lawyers by a score of 11-4.
The Honorable William T. Nicholas - an MBA member for 52 years - earned MVP
honors for the Old Lawyer team, going 4-4, knocking in some runs and expertly manning
first base. Rookie Douglas Sullivan, Esq., of Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP in North
Wales, was named MVP for the Young Lawyer team for his strong showings on both offense
and defense, flashing some leather at third base. MVPs were chosen for their exemplary
play by the opposing teams and each received an award from Strehlow & Associates
Court Reporting. Strehlow & Associates also treated fans and players to Rita's Water
Ice. Lemonade was provided by Edward Jones Investments and hoagies served by J & L
Catering, Inc. USI Affinity also served as event sponsor.
