The Honorable Daniel J. Clifford was recently re-elected
to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the
Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Judge Clifford also spoke on a
diversity panel at Villanova Law School Orientation on August
18, 2017. The program was titled "Valuing Difference and
Empathy as Future Legal Professionals and Advocates" and was
delivered to approximately 200 first-year law students.
Steven F. Fairlie of Fairlie & Lippy, P.C., Leigh P. Narducci,
and The Honorable Matthew Weintraub, Bucks County
District Attorney, presented a seminar entitled "Cosby and
Kane: Lessons and Issues" at the 34th Annual Criminal Law
Symposium held at the Hilton Hotel in Harrisburg on June 8-9,
Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin attorney William
G. Roark presented at a "Medical Marijuana and Commercial
Real Estate" seminar on May 18, 2017. The seminar was hosted
by Suburban West Realtors Association, Montgomery County
Development Corporation and CCIM Institute. Mr. Roark
also served as a co-planner of a seminar entitled "Medical
Marijuana in Pennsylvania; Anticipating Legal, Regulatory and
Business Issues for Growing, Processing and Dispensing Medical
Marijuana" at the Wyndam Philadelphia on August 25, 2017.
Mr. Roark was also recently interviewed on NBC 10's acclaimed
Sunday morning show "@Issue" to talk about Pennsylvania's
Medical Marijuana Law and its impact on our local community.
Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin is pleased to
announce that Joseph J. McGrory, Jr. has been elected chair
of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Municipal Law Section for a
two-year term.
Linda A. Kerns received the 2017 Betty Murphy Award from
the Republican National Lawyers Association at the National
Press Club in Washington, DC on May 5, 2017. The ceremony
was broadcast nationally on C-SPAN TV.

Mary Cushing Doherty has been honored with the
Pennsylvania Bar Association's Special Achievement Award, in
recognition of her tireless assistance with meeting legislators to
address reducing the harmful impact of divorce waiting periods
on children.

Marc Robert Steinberg participated in two panel discussions
at the Pennsylvania Bar Association's 34th Annual Criminal
Law Symposium entitled "What Were You Thinking? Ethical
Issues Arising At Trial" and also "Jury Instructions." The panel
consisted of Hon.William R. Carpenter and Hon. Carolyn
Tornetta Carluccio of the Court of Common Pleas of
Montgomery County, President Judge Hon. Jeffrey Finley and
Hon. Wallace H. Bateman of the Court of Common Pleas of
Bucks County, First Deputy Attorney General Michelle Henry
and Mr. Steinberg. The Symposium was held in Harrisburg, PA
on June 8, 2017.
Jay C. Glickman, a partner at the Lansdale law firm of Rubin,
Glickman, Steinberg and Gifford, P.C., recently presented an
Estate Planning Session to the Men's Breakfast Group of the
Dock Woods Community on June 9, 2017.
Irene S. Gold is pleased to announce that she has opened a
law office in Huntingdon Valley after having been an attorney
in California for over 11 years. Her practice focuses on Estate
Planning, Family Law, Social Security Disability, and Bankruptcy.
Robert R.Watson, Jr., of Eastburn and Gray, PC, served
on a panel discussing Mechanic's Liens for the Montgomery
County Development Corporation. Held on July 20, 2017 in
Bala Cynwyd, the seminar was geared toward attorneys, builders,
developers and subcontractors and explored the Pennsylvania
Mechanics' Lien Law and how owners should navigate this
important statute to reduce exposure.
Anthiel Maslow & MacMinn, LLP is pleased to announce the
addition of Jamie M. Jamison to the firm's Family Law Practice
Group. Ms. Jamison practices exclusively in the area of family law
where she handles all phases of the negotiation and litigation of

Governor Tom Wolf has appointed Thomas J. Elliott as a
member of the Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania. A Senior

Mr. Elliott is a former member of the Disciplinary Board of the
Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and is currently a member of the
