North Dakota Approves
Oil, NGL Pipeline Projects
BISMARCK, N.D.-The North Dakota
Public Service Commission has approved
siting permits for two pipeline projects:
one for crude oil and the other to transport
natural gas liquids.
A permit approved for Oasis Midstream
Services LLC allows it to construct and
operate the Wild Basin to Johnsons Corner
pipeline in McKenzie County, N.D. The
10¾-inch crude pipeline is 18.3 miles
long with one lateral pipeline 0.9 miles
long. It will have a maximum capacity
of 75,000 barrels a day, the PSC says.
The second permit securing PSC approval is for the Bear Creek NGL pipeline
project, submitted by ONEOK Bakken
Pipeline LLC, the commission says.
The 37-mile long, eight-inch diameter
NGL pipeline will be built in Dunn and
McKenzie counties, PSC says, and will
carry Y-grade NGLs produced at the Bear
Creek Plant, which is under construction.
Maximum pipeline capacity will be 14,000
bbl/d.

Primus Plans To Develop
Marcellus Methanol Plant
HILLSBOROUGH, N.J.-Primus Green
Energy Inc., a gas-to-liquids technology
company, says it will develop a 160
million ton a day (MMt/d) methanol plant
in the Marcellus Shale region.
Production is slated to begin in 2017
for regional distribution, with three additional trains in the following years expected
to increase capacity to 640 MMt/d, the
company says.
Its standardized modular GTL systems
will convert low-cost Marcellus feedstock
into methanol locally, saving its clients production and transportation costs, the company
says. Primus adds it plans to deliver as
many as four additional methanol plants in
other North American regional markets.
"Launching our North American methanol
plant in the Marcellus and additional commercial builds demonstrate how Primus'
standardized, modularized STG+TM solutions
can provide world-class economics in smaller
distributed plants, says Sam Golan, Primus
Green Energy's chief executive officer.
The company says its technology,
which can be trucked in and assembled
on site, uses a range of natural gas feedstocks, including wellhead and pipeline
gas, dry or wet associated gas, stranded
ethane, or mixed natural gas liquids. ❒

EagleClaw Commissions Toyah I Cryogenic Plant
MIDLAND, TX.-EagleClaw Midstream Ventures LLC has commissioned
its Toyah I natural gas processing plant
in Reeves County, Tx.
According to EagleClaw, the cryogenic
plant has the capacity to process 60 million
cubic feet of natural gas a day, and serves
producers in the Delaware Basin. The
Toyah I plant is served by 120 miles of
gathering pipeline and four field compressor stations with a total of 11,000
horsepower of low-pressure compression.
EagleClaw points out that an 18-mile
natural gas liquids line connects the Toyah

I plant to Lone Star's West Texas Gateway
Pipeline, which transports NGLs to the
market center at Mont Belvieu, Tx. Toyah
I also is connected to Kinder Morgan's El
Paso 1600 Pipeline, which has significant
excess capacity available for residue gas.
EagleClaw says it expects to establish an
additional connection into ONEOK's WestTex Transmission system, an intrastate natural gas pipeline system that connects into
the Roadrunner Gas Transmission Pipeline.
