and positive energy is new paint! Try fresh colors with motivational quotes or power words. Maybe spring for some new
flooring. Make it a big deal, post on social media with your recent "makeover" and let clients know how excited you are and
how much you appreciate them.

Serve your team

Are you still bringing the energy? Do you still love what
you do? Do you give everything you've got to every session and
member you serve? This is critical to avoid member burnout.
If you're the owner you need to lead by example and "be the
spark." Find ways to protect, enhance and spread your positive
energy because your members and your team will feel the energy and be drawn to it. Your own personal development plays
into the energy you bring to your clients. For example, on a
daily basis, try to read at least one positive quote or listen to
positive affirmations on a voice recorder and recite them aloud.
Praise progress and recognize and celebrate key achievements
and milestones for both your members and your team.

When we survey our members and ask them the top
reasons they choose us for their fitness needs, almost always
the top response is "the passionate and motivating coaches."
What are you doing to hire "A" players? How can you serve
your team better?
Try this simple exercise at your next team meeting; ask your
team four questions:
1. What motivates them?
2. What would make their job easier?
3. What would make their job more fun and enjoyable?
4. What is one idea they have to serve your members better?
You will be amazed by the results and it will be your responsibility to take action on their answers so you retain awesome
employees and create members who are raving fans.

Build a tribe of raving fans

What are you doing to build your tribe? Remember, it's our
job to make fitness fun! Add humor in your workouts, smile more
often, high-five your members and encourage them to high-five
each other. Have themed workout days and encourage and reward participation. Find what works for you and have a good time!
As the fitness industry evolves, you have to be able to improvise, innovate and adapt to continue to survive and thrive.
Implement the ideas above and you will empower your team,
create an awesome environment, beat the client burnout so
many facilities are experience and create members for life.
