Jim Nixon has been appointed president of Sandvik Venture and a member
of Sandvik Group's executive management. He previously served as president
of Varel International Energy Services
(VIES), which Sandvik acquired last
year. Nixon also has energy industry
experience from leading positions at
SDBS, which was part of Dresser Industries.
Michael Reeves will succeed Nixon
as VIES president. His past experience
includes president of the company's oil
and gas drill bits division and president
and chief executive officer of XACT
Downhole Telemetry. In his new role,
he will lead VIES through an expansion
phase.

Steven Farris as chairman, president and
chief executive officer of Apache Corp.
Farris joined Apache in 1988, and
has served as its chief executive officer
since 2002 and as chairman of the board
since 2009. He assumed the title of
president in February 2014. Farris served
the company as president and chief operating officer from 1994 to 2009, as
senior vice president from 1991 to 1994,
and as vice president for exploration
and production from 1988 to 1991.
Christmann, who served as Apache's
executive vice president and chief operating officer for North America, will
succeed Farris as president and CEO,
and join its board of directors.

Carlos Pascual has joined IHS as
senior vice president to focus on global
energy issues and international affairs.
In his previous experience as U.S.
energy envoy and coordinator for international energy affairs, Pascual established

Wellsite Rental Services LLC has appointed Stephen Sheppert as engineering
manager. His responsibilities include engineering support for all of Wellsite's
product lines, with primary focus on the
hydraulically operated, flush-mounted
slips for tripping drill pipe.
Sheppert's past positions include a
technical role for Offshore Energy Services, and senior engineer in the mechanical
integrity division at Global X-ray and
Testing.

TETRA Technologies Inc.'s Peter J.
Pintar has been promoted from senior
vice president of corporate strategy and
development to senior vice president of
TETRA's offshore services division. He
succeeds the retiring Edwin H. Goldman.
Since joining TETRA in 2011 as
senior vice president of corporate strategy
and development, Pintar has worked extensively with the offshore services division. Before coming to the company, he
served as vice president of corporate
strategy and development at Smith International Inc.

Michael D'Antonio has joined the
New Mexico Oil & Gas Association as
director of government affairs. Before
joining the association, he worked for
more than 30 years in several departments
at the Public Service Company of New
Mexico (PNM), including governmental
affairs/public policy, resource planning

Foster Marketing has named Megan
Schreckenbach its vice president of account services, where she will be responsible for supervising the account services
team at the company's Houston office.
Schreckenbach has more than a
decade of experience in coordinating
and managing creative strategies for
clients. She joined Foster Marketing in
2007 as an account associate and later
was promoted to trade show coordinator
and account executive.
