Leading From the Front
Leading From the Front, GAMA’s new development program for experienced frontline leaders,
launched in April 2012. Two classes are currently under way — one open-enrollment and one
company-specific, with a total of 26 participants from four different companies.
Te program, a blend of on-site and virtual classes with individual and group coaching sessions
in between, is made up of seven modules: “Master Sales Leadership,” “Optimize Recruiting,”
“Optimize Selection,” “Accelerate the Launch,” “Elevate Performance,” “Grow Your Business,” and
“In the Footsteps of Leaders” (capstone). It also features a 12-month business plan, a coaching
model, and a leadership competency assessment.
Leading From the Front culminates on the battlefields of Gettysburg, Pa., where GAMA has
partnered with the Gettysburg Foundation to offer a customized leadership development
experience that uses the critical Civil War battle to highlight the impact of leadership
communication and decision making.
The Essentials of Leadership
and Management
GAMA’s flagship program, Te Essentials of
Leadership and Management, continues to
challenge and inspire agency and firm leaders.
In 2012, 10 classes were held, with a total of
172 participants. Te following companies

were held in FY 2012, with 469 participants.
