GEODynamics Inc. has named
Nathan G. Clark senior vice president
of perforating and technology, and
Cameron Kirkpatrick vice president
of U.S. sales.
Clark has 23 years of industry experience designing and developing shaped
charges, explosive devices and completion tools used in the oil and gas industry. He holds 21 U.S. patents. Clark
is a member of the Society of Petroleum
Engineers and has held a voting chair
for the American Petroleum Institute
for 17 years.
Kirkpatrick joined GEODynamics
as a junior sales representative, and
held several sales positions at the territory, regional and national levels before
being promoted to director of business
development in 2014. He will manage
the company's U.S. sales and field operations organizations. Kirkpatrick is
an active member of SPE.

U.S. Silica Holdings Inc. has promoted Bradford B. Casper to vice
president and chief commercial officer.
He will continue to oversee the company's strategic initiatives and assume
leadership of the sales, marketing and
product development efforts.
Casper has served as the company's
vice president of strategy since May
2011. Before joining U.S. Silica, he
held various positions within Bain &
Company Inc., most recently as a principal from July 2010 to May 2011. ❒

Palmer Petroleum has named William
Downs president. He succeeds longtime
president John Palmer, who will continue
to play an active role within the company.

JANEEN
JUDAH

The Society of Petroleum Engineers
has selected Janeen Judah, general manager of Chevron's Southern Africa business unit, as 2017 president. Judah, who
is based in Houston, will take office as
president-elect on September 30.
Judah serves on the SPE Board of Directors as vice president of finance. Her
past SPE leadership positions include
chair of the Gulf Coast and Permian
Basin sections, and serving on the board
as directors for the Gulf Coast North
America region. She received SPE's Distinguished Service Award in 2010.
Judah has served as president of
Chevron Environmental Management
Co., and as general manager of reservoir
and production engineering for Chevron
Energy Technology Co. Before joining
Chevron, she worked for Texaco and
ARCO in petroleum engineering positions.

CADNUM

Atlas Copco has appointed Matt Cadnum vice president of sales for its rental
channel, where he will be responsible
for expanding product and service breadth
for U.S. rental centers.
Cadnum has 20 years of experience
in the construction equipment industry.

Rachel E. James has returned to
law firm Babst Calland as an associate
in the firm's mineral title services group
and its energy and natural resources
group. James counsels energy, oil, gas
and mineral-related clients on transaction
matters as they relate to gas title issues
and opinions. A 2009 graduate of the
University of Pittsburgh School of Law,
she previously worked at EQT Corp.
Jonathan T. Osborne has joined
Babst Calland's Charleston, W.V., office
as an associate in the litigation services
group. His practice focuses on general
litigation, including energy, employment,
personal injury and construction law.
Osborne serves in leadership roles in
the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and the Defense Research Institute.
A 2011 graduate of the University of
Dayton School of Law, he was previously with Jackson Kelly PLLC.

Flotek Industries Inc. has appointed
Robert M. Schmitz as executive vice
president and chief financial officer.
He succeeds H. Richard Walton, who
has been named chief financial officer
emeritus.
Schmitz has served as Flotek's vice
president and corporate controller since
June 2013. Prior to joining Flotek, he
was vice president and chief accounting
officer at Champion Technologies Inc.
He also has worked at Shell Oil Co.
and Dynergy.
