Clearlake Provides Capital
To Globe Energy Services
SNYDER, TX.-Clearlake Capital
Group LP announces it has led the
successful recapitalization of Globe
Energy Services LLC in partnership with
Globe's management team and other
existing stakeholders. Terms of the
transaction have not been disclosed.
Headquartered in Snyder, Globe
provides oil field services from more than
50 operating locations throughout Texas,
New Mexico and Oklahoma. The
company says it offers a full range of
services primarily focused on production
activities and well maintenance,
including fluid, completion, artificial lift,
production chemical, water infrastructure
and environmental services.
Globe points out that most of its
operations are in the Permian Basin,
where rig counts and production volumes
have been supported by relatively low
costs.
"With the transaction complete, Globe
can now leverage Clearlake's substantial
resources and our experience in the
energy and oil field services sectors to
propel its growth strategy," says José E.
Feliciano, Clearlake's founder and
managing partner. "Globe has an
experienced management team with a
track record of providing customers with

AADE Lafayette Awards $15,000 In Scholarships
LAFAYETTE, LA.-The Lafayette
chapter of the American Association of
Drilling Engineers has awarded $15,000
in scholarship funding to engineering students at the University of Louisiana at
Lafayette. Andrew Trosclair, Kerry Marlett
and Kobie Renard were each awarded
$2,500 scholarships for both the fall and
spring semesters, AADE reports.

Baker Hughes Joins Effort To Promote Quality, Safety
HOUSTON-Baker Hughes indicates it
is the first service company to enroll in the
new Regional Operational Integrity
ProgramTM (ROIP) for the oil and natural
gas industry and to receive gold
recognition for its Gulf of Mexico Center
of Excellence from oil and gas consulting
firm Wollam Petroleum Advisory Group.
ROIP incorporates API Q2 standards and
extends that specification's purpose of
driving consistency, risk mitigation and

OFSCap Acquisition LLC has acquired
The Oil and Gas Asset Clearinghouse
from CenterGate Capital.
Since its inception, Clearinghouse has
sold $13 billion worth of property
through 32,000 transactions, OFSCap
reports. Clearinghouse is the only
acquisition and divestiture advisory
services firm in the industry offering live
auction and negotiated transaction
services, OFSCap says, adding that it has
the industry's largest broker/dealerapproved database of energy property
buyers and sellers.

AADE notes it has awarded an additional $7,500 in scholarships to cover
spring 2016 educational costs for three
UL students who achieved success after
being chosen as AADE's fall 2015 honorees.
The association says all student applications are thoroughly reviewed by
a scholarship committee and finalists
are interviewed by committee
representatives before being
selected.

Baker Hughes notes that API Q2 was
developed in 2010 to ensure that service
providers implement quality controls at
the facility level, based on identifying
assessing and managing risk. The
company says ROIP goes beyond facility
certification to ensure consistency in all
aspects of quality and risk mitigation
control throughout a region.
According to Baker Hughes, ROIP is
the industry's first program to incorporate
global supply chain, manufacturing,
drilling contractors, service providers and
operators into one program to collaborate
on a broader scale. The controls
encompassed by the program include, but
are not limited to, risk assessment and
management; contingency planning;
service design, quality plans and
performance validation; identification and
qualification of mission-critical suppliers;
and change management based on risk
factors. Baker Hughes says ROIP
participants must complete six steps
based on these controls before receiving
recognition for a region as platinum, gold,
silver or bronze.
