The Oil & Gas Conservation Division, under Director Ryan
A. Hoffman, regulates oil and gas exploration and production activities as a division of the Kansas Corporation Commission. Shari
Feist Albrecht chairs the KCC, serving alongside Commissioners Jay Scott Emler and Pat Apple.
Licensing of oil and gas operators, producers and drillers working in the state is done by the Oil & Gas Conservation Division
office in Wichita. Kansas is divided into four regions for administering KCC regulations.
