The PBPA Board of Directors is meeting at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the
Permian Basin Petroleum Museum. A

Activities on Thursday, Oct. 27, begin
with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and include
speeches from New Mexico Land Commissioner Aubrey Dunn and Texas Railroad Commissioner Ryan Sitton.
"I think the overwhelming theme for
our breakfast speakers is going to be the
economic impact of industry conditions
and where everybody stands," Robertson
says. "With the oil and gas industry providing so much revenue to the states of
Texas and New Mexico, less activity severely impacts the budgets of the two
states. Commissioners Dunn and Sitton
can talk about how that affects operations
for regulators, legislators, and other state
agencies. Both of those gentlemen will
be able to touch on that and provide
insight on what their commissions are
doing and what they would like to see
happen as we go forward."
