Weatherford, Kwantis Ally To Ease Well Construction

PLC announces it has entered an
agreement with Kwantis to strengthen
the Weatherford Centro™ well construction
optimization platform with multiwell
benchmarking and drilling key performance
indicator analytics.
Through automated and predictive
capabilities, the Centro platform makes
dynamic adjustments using real-time
well engineering to optimize well delivery
results, Weatherford describes.

To Expand LNG Solutions
PARIS-Technip Energies and Baker
Hughes report they have signed a memorandum
of understanding that sets the
groundwork for joint development of a
modularized liquefied natural gas solution
for the onshore market capable of producing
between 1 million and 2 million
tons per annum (MTPA) of LNG.
The collaborative project aims to reduce
LNG's time to market, the partners
outline. They say the new solution will
complement Baker Hughes' range of
midscale modular solutions, which has
a production capacity of 0.8 to 1 MTPA,
and
Technip Energies' modular
SnapLNG™, which has a production
capacity of 2 to 3 MTPA.

Sercel Celebrates Order For Acquisition System
NANTES, FRANCE-Sercel announces
it has sold an 80,000-channel
508XT acquisition system and 24 Nomad
65 Neo broadband vibrators for deployment
on a 3-D mega-crew seismic survey
in North Africa in late 2023. This new
equipment will join an existing installed
base of two 508XT systems, representing
a total of 180,000 channels, and a fleet
of 30 Nomad 90 Neo vibrators that
were delivered in 2021 to equip two
other major projects in the same area,
Sercel says.
The Nomad 65 Neo all-terrain vibrator,
selected for its ability to operate efficiently
in harsh conditions, will be used with
Sercel's Smart LF software to reduce
vibrator-induced low-frequency distortion
and record a high-quality dataset over
the widest frequency range, Sercel relates.
The company indicates its Vibrator AutoGuidance
solution will significantly increase
vibroseis productivity. When combined
with the reliable and easy-to-deploy
508XT acquisition system, this set of
equipment will ensure large-scale and
error-free operations, Sercel says.
