Players to watch: Frederic Gregoire, sr., F; Shane

Outlook: The key to the team's fortunes is
Gregoire, who's been slowed the last couple years with
injuries but is a top-line talent. With him in the lineup,
the lines get deeper. Freshmen Cowans and Wascho
are exciting young players and UMass-commit Felix
a strong presence on a blue line that's still a question
mark. Dwyer, an assistant last year, takes over as head
coach with Justin Cerenzia assisting him.

St. Mark's

Coach: Carl Corazzini
2014-15 record: 19-3-3, won Piatelli/Simmons
championship
Players to watch: Ryan Ferland, sr., G; Zach
Tsekos, sr., F; Luke O'Brien, sr., F; Peter Housakos, sr., D;
Derek Osik, sr., F; Owen Allen, sr., F; Henry Thrun, fr., D;
Colby Bailey, fr., D; Mike Nantais, jr., D; Logan Stewart,
soph., D

Outlook: St. Mark's won a championship last year
and looks formidable again, both in goal with Ferland
(.914 save percentage), and up front with players like
Tsekos (54 points) and O'Brien (51 points). "We will
be extremely gifted up front," said Corazzini. "We have
a lot of senior leadership that will be able to produce
in adverse situations." The defense is young and will
feature a pair of freshmen.

takes over for longtime coach Mo Randall, whose
team was playing well down the stretch last winter
and returns its three top scorers. The defense should
be formidable with McGrath back in net. Callahan is
a Providence commit and another asset on defense.
More offensive balance is a goal.

Boys

Players to watch: David Fiset-Ross, sr., F; William
Brochu, jr., F; Alex Reissis, PG, G; Teegan Meehan, sr., F;
Sam Provost, sr., D; Matt Fuller, sr., D; Saku Leppanen,
jr., D; Jordan White, sr., G; Anthony Cieri, PG, F
Outlook: After graduating a class of 12 players, Brewster takes the ice with some experienced
postgrads and a crop of younger players as it looks to
climb in the standings. Team defense and goaltending
will be keys, said Anctil. The Bobcats will look to have
a balanced scoring attack with contributions from
all four lines, and place a heavy emphasis on special
teams success.

Holderness
Coach: Alan Thompson

Celebrations were rare
for Deerfield last season,
due largely to injuries.

2014-15 record: 7-22
Players to watch: Ryan Steele, sr., F; Logan
Clarke, sr., F; Tyler Slusarczyk, sr., F; Shawn Moors, jr., D;
Logan Bateman, jr., G
Outlook: Up front, Holderness should have two
strong lines led by Steele, Clarke and Slusarczyk.
Defensively, it expects to be stronger and deeper
than the past two seasons, but still young with only

one senior on the back end. Goaltending is a question
mark at the outset.
Bateman has started roughly 10 games over the
past two seasons for Holderness and will be competing with a junior from Minnesota, David Nicholson,
for the starting job. Thompson, a native of nearby
Gilford who played at UNH, takes over for Allie Skelley
behind the bench.
