nucleus coming back, as well as the addition of some
new players, should help with this." Riley and Mitchell,
both 12-goal scorers a year ago, will spark the attack
alongside DelVento, while Cavanaugh and Lovell
provide leadership along the blue line.

Outlook: Experience is the order at Tabor, where
much of the returning roster comes with plenty under
their belts. "We have a deep and experienced team
with numerous players that have played prep hockey
for a number of seasons," said Coach Dineen. They
will look to rely on their team speed and a veteran
group on the blue line to overcome one of the tougher
schedules on the board.

Coach: Matthew Goethals
2014-15 record: 7-18
Players to watch: David Altman, G; Matt
Kenyon, D; Raph Guillebon, D; Andrew Shields, F; Jon
Beniers, F
Outlook: The key for the Griffins this season will
be generating more offense against the top-tiered programs, and in returning three of their top five scorers
from a year ago - Shields, Chris Wright and Kyle Penn
- they should be poised to do so. Having Altman back
between the pipes should allow for them to break up
ice with more confidence, knowing that one of the
prep's best netminders stands behind them.

Portsmouth Abbey

Coach: Paul Ranalli
2014-15 record: 8-10-4
Players to watch: Bailey Strangis, G; Jack Murphy, D; Dom Cappadona, F; Dan Sliney, F; Ben Quick, F
Outlook: While the Ravens are still a young group,
they do return plenty of key components that will
continue to be around for a while. Sophomore keeper

Tabor Academy

Williston-Northampton

Coach: Derek Cunha
2014-15 record: 13-11-2
Players to watch: Jack Kelly, F; Nick Schofield, F;
R.J. Guardia, D; Brad Budman, D; Shane Mason, G
Outlook: They will be tested from the jump, and
it is Cunha's hope that the Wildcats' incoming class of
players can ramp up quickly to help them compete
again for a postseason bid. Kelly (16 goals, eight assists) and Schofield (eight goals, 15 assists) were 2-3 in
scoring on the team last season and Mason shouldered
the bulk of minutes between the pipes last season, giv-

ing them a strong veteran presence to start things off.

Winchendon School

Coach: Jarrett Sampson
2014-15 record: 11-13-2, lost to Proctor in
quarterfinals of Piatelli/Simmons tournament
Players to watch: Anthony Scarcella, F; Maxime
Cote, F; John Mulera, F; Joe Vingi, D; Brandon Graf, G;
Josh George, G
Outlook: The Wapiti will hope that the seasonending momentum that carried them into the playoffs
will carry over to the start of this season, but, "it will
depend on how quickly the newcomers can adjust to the
increased pace of play," according to Sampson. Helping
to bring the new faces up to speed will be captain and
blueline stalwart Vingi, alongside forwards Scarcella (14
goals, 14 assists last year) and Cote (15 points).

Worcester Academy

Coach: Gus Angers
2014-15 record: 10-13-1
Players to watch: Mickey Riley, F; Jordan Chagnon, D; Joe Ripa, F; Chris DelMastro F; Lucio Nicolette,
D; Marcello Nicolette, D
Outlook: The Rams are a young bunch, but their
core returnees provide plenty of stability. Angers expects
his group "to be strong in goal and play toward our
goaltending with strong defense and be opportunist offensively." Sophomore Devin Barresi will share time with
Olof Djurberg this season while Riley captains the offense
and Chagnon captains a defensive corps that gained
some valuable ice time and experience a year ago.
