Outlook: In his second season at the helm,
Friedman will have many new faces to work with, but
in Nordstrom, the 2015 Travis Roy Award winner as
Maine's top high school hockey player, and Spillane,
a key piece to Franklin's Super 8 run last year, he has
two guys who know a whole lot about winning. With
Cassidy and Henderson, last year's offensive leaders,
returning, the Huskies will cause fits for opponents'
defense, while McLaughlin provides proper insurance
in goal.

Kingswood Oxford

Coach: Ben Adams
2014-15 record: 5-16-2
Players to watch: Brendan Lantieri; Kyle
Keenan, F; AJ Przystawski, D; Ben Steele, D
Outlook: For Adams and assistant Joe Dabkowski,
this is a transition year from a year ago when the
program was in jeopardy of being eliminated. The
administration and the board of directors have decided
to permanently renew the program and Adams said
they're looking forward to building the hockey history. "We have a schedule that is conducive to being
competitive and we are excited to be part of the Holt
League," Adams said. "Losing a recruiting year, the
keys to our success will be to stay healthy. We have a
lot of underclassmen who will need to step up and fill
roles to support the returners. As every year, we will
need to be extra diligent in the defensive zone and

capitalize on our offensive opportunities."

Millbrook School

Coach: Vincent Sorriento
2014-15 record: 11-19-3
Players to watch: Luka Piccolo, F; Massimo
Luciani, F; Jed Raby, D; Alex Sheehy, D
Outlook: After breaking in 17 new players a year
ago, the Mustangs now have experience, where last
year it was lacking, as evident in some of its closer
battles. Sorriento feels "this is the deepest team we
have had in my time at Millbrook." Despite the loss of
team points leader Matt Gosiewski to the USHL, there
is plenty of firepower in the 16 returnees, with Piccolo
(eight goals, 20 assists) and Luciani (13 goals, 14 assists) cooking up the offense.

and some new blood behind the bench in Tortorella
will be looking to get things back on track. The firstyear bench boss, a 1980 graduate of the school, knows
what it takes to be successful there and "is looking to
vastly improve on last year's sub-par performance."
Aiding in those efforts will be the return of last year's
top two scorers in Levine (20 goals, 19 assists) and
Colin Nugent (14 goals, 21 assists).

2014-15 record: 24-4-2, lost to Kimball Union in
Stuart/Corkery quarterfinals
Players to watch: Devin Moore, F; Ben Solin, F;
Trevor Cosgrove, D; Bradley Ingersoll, D; Peter Christie,
D; Jordan Haney, D
Outlook: While the Big Red loses four of their five
top scorers, they return all seven defensemen from a
team that was one of the best last year, with blueline
staples Cosgrove (Colgate commit) and Christie serving
as team captains. They also return Moore and Solin,
both of whom had 30-plus point seasons a year
ago, and will introduce four postgrads to the mix of
forwards.

Northfield-Mt. Hermon

Coach: Tom Pratt
2014-15 record: 14-15-1
Players to watch: Oliver Chau, F; Jamie Dorsey,
D; Griffen Boedicker, F; Eric Green, G
Outlook: It will be Pratt's swan song after nine
season behind the NHM bench, and on top of grooming
his players to become college-level talents, he will
be grooming his successor, NMH and UMass alumnus
Kevin Czepiel, who will serve as an assistant coach
this season. They will need to replace the bulk of the
offense but return Chau, who scored 17 goals and had
17 assists in his junior campaign. Replacing the likes of
Conor O'Brien in net will be tantamount to the success
of the Hoggers, and Green, a sophomore, could be in
