Not only are charity jobs as well rewarded as any other, you also get the chance to make a difference to people's lives. There are charities in all sorts of sectors, from childcare and animal welfare to overseas aid and ecological issues. There are more than 180,000 registered charities in England and Wales employing around 800,000 people and generating around £10bn in annual income.
