Jobs and Careers Autumn 2017 - 34
A GREAT CAREER?
Former Miss England finalist Natalie joined Caesars in 2012. She originally
applied to join the Playboy Club as a Bunny valet but was offered the
opportunity to join as a trainee dealer instead. Progressing from the
training school, she worked as a Bunny dealer on the casino tables at the
Playboy Club and in 2014 she applied for the role of head Bunny.
This job requires someone who is an ambassador of the Bunny brand and now Natalie
spends a lot of her time improving the standards among the other Bunnies at the club,
participates on the panel of casting events and helps out with managerial tasks.
Outside of work, Natalie designs swimwear and loves to travel. She also qualified for a
world championship of Irish dancing. Her ultimate goal is to run her own business.
Andrew has been working in the industry for some time, after becoming
interested in it when his brother was a croupier. He spent some time
learning how to deal while living in Israel.
After that he worked in a number of casinos in the Glasgow area as
a dealer, inspector and in the CCTV department before coming to Alea
Casinos in 2008 as an inspector. Recently, Andrew took part in the TAG apprentice training
scheme and is now assistant casino manager.
Andrew feels the company has a very strong customer focus as well as valuing its own staff,
offering rewards and benefits to those who show hard work and commitment. He has recently
been rewarded for this by being a Caesars Award of Excellence category winner for 2016.
Suzie joined the Alea Casino in Glasgow in 2012 and was looking for
an exciting new challenge by coming to work in a casino restaurant,
having worked in the restaurant industry for a number of years.
Since joining the company Suzie has worked her way up to her
current senior supervisor role, having previously worked as a waitress
and supervisor. Suzie loves the people she comes into contact with - both her colleagues and
her customers. She feels she has had the opportunity to build her confidence through these
interactions and is a great fan of Alea Glasgow's team days out, when there is an opportunity
to socialise with people from other departments. She has twice won Waitress of the Year and
was Employee of the Year 2015 at the casino.
