Tony Stone has risen from general
manager to regional support manager at
Hollywood Bowl Group. Here is his story

Group as a general
manager in December
2003, having spent over
12 years in the gaming
industry. I wanted a role
in a fast-paced, exciting
company that would
give me the autonomy to grow sales
by delivering high operating standards
and motivating a team to provide an
exceptional customer experience.
Hollywood Bowl Group was a natural ﬁt.
The company's development
programmes are second-to-none.
I was selected for the senior leadership
development programme, which helped
me to reﬁne my skills, made me understand
my strengths and weaknesses. As a result
Hollywood Bowl Group's
development is second-tonone. I started as general
manager and am now
responsible for 11 centres
outstanding leadership, operational and
business development support to general
managers and their teams. The continued
growth of the region's proﬁtability and
continued alignment of the company's
ways of working are key parts of my role.
I love meeting people in our business as
they're the ones who shape the company.
