TRAINING FROM SCRATCH
Caesars Entertainment is passionate about
delivering exceptional gaming entertainment,
inspiring play across the world.
The industry has a wide range of career
opportunities on offer. In some, training
is provided from scratch - you just need
a passion for customer service and to
understand what makes a great experience
for customers, or "guests" as they're known.
Aside from the more usual opportunities
within the casino, like dealers (croupiers),
all its UK properties also feature bars and
restaurants. These are great places to work
for those with catering experience, and
range from kitchen porters up to executive
head chefs, who create the menus and
cook for guests at the flagship casinos.
There are roles available within the
kitchens, restaurants and bars, as well
as serving drinks and snacks to guests
on the casino floor. There are roles in
the company for people with little or no
experience - you'll soon learn and the
opportunity is there to apply for promotions
to make a career, not just a job.
There are also opportunities
in areas including reception,
marketing and events, driving,
administrative support and
numerous roles at the
head office on Baker
to new roles within the same venue, or
between venues or go to head office to gain
different experience - each venue is geared
towards its own specific marketplace and
you'll get to work with all kinds of guests,
ranging from casual gamers who enjoy
a night out at the casino every now and
then, right up to our regular VIP guests.
Discretion is key, however. While you
may be serving a meal to a household
name or interacting with a VIP guest at
a gaming table, you must remember that
all guests should be treated with the same
level of service and discretion - they
are all there to enjoy themselves. Your
role is to ensure they do just that. That's
where service standards come in, which
you'll receive regular training in. Part
of the company's mission is to ensure a
memorable experience for everyone, every
time - guests and team members alike.
